How much of a pricetag would you put on the concept of 'peace of mind'?
$50?
$500?
$10,000?
$10,000,000?
$700 billion?
Well, for me the answer this time is $500, in the form of a battery-backup sump pump system.
Now all I have to do is install the beast. Though the second runner-up would be the $10M. Why not the $700B? Good lord, I could by several small countries w/ islands for that much, I wouldn't know what to do with it all. Plus the taxes! LOL

Next week I will be travelling, after... uh... 6 months! of not travelling for work, to the lovely fields of Scottsbluff, NE. Not far away is Alliance, NE, which I had the pleasure of visiting last year. You may say to yourself, 'Alliance? What's so special about Alliance?'
Alliance is famous! Worldly famous! Because it has Carhenge ! I'm actually amazed there's a website now. But I'm only going to Scottsbluff, so I don't think I'll be visiting Carhenge again on this trip. When I was there last year, the place was rocking! There were 4 people there - myself, my coworker, and two teens making out in a car. Not one of the Carhenge cars, their own car.
Though if they were making out in the Carhenge cars, that would be hilarious! I can hear the bragging rights now:
"Uh, yeah, I boinked her in the Vega - yeah, it was hard because it was up so high, and we could hear the car creakin' and all as we were rockin' the wagon, but yeah. I only need 5 more cars and I'll have done it in every car in Carhenge."
As amazed throngs of this guy's entourage stare open-mouthed at him, they exclaim, "Dude, you're so cool!"
"Yeah, *sniff* I know..."
